Specialism – 3d Character Modeller
For her final major project, Vicky is drawing inspiration from the dark and captivating world of "Castlevania" to create a female vampire character named Carmelia. She aims to reflect the brooding ambiance of the show. Carmelia will possess an air of seductive menace, with grey attire and gold accents. These elements, combined with a dark purple and black background, will emphasize her supernatural and enigmatic nature.
Throughout her final year, Vicky has focused on developing a diverse set of skills. She aims to transform her strong drawing abilities into digital art by using software like Zbrush to sculpt 3D models and Substance Painter to paint and texture high-quality work. Her goal is to create stylized characters that stand out in the industry.
For her career, Vicky aspires to become a 3D character modeller. She plans to finish university and apply for internships worldwide, eager to learn new skills and bring her creative ideas to life in roles that involve generating visual and enchanting characters.

" To pose my character using the AccuRIG system designed for Maya, I leveraged the IK setup obtained from the AccuRIG website. This efficient process facilitated the establishment of the auto rig, allowing me to manipulate the character's movements in alignment with my creative vision. While the system provided a sturdy framework, achieving precise poses often necessitated manual adjustments to refine bone positions. Despite encountering some imperfections, this method enabled me to intricately sculpt the character's movements, ensuring each pose conveyed the intended emotion and narrative depth. "
" Whether creating characters for entertainment, models for medical education, or designs for products that interact with the human body, a thorough knowledge of human anatomy is essential for achieving accuracy, realism, and functionality in 3D modelling. As technology continues to advance, the ability to create highly detailed and accurate 3D representations of the human form will remain a critical skill for modelers seeking to push the boundaries of visual storytelling, education, and design.
