Specialism – VFX Artist
The aim of the project is to create multiple shots to breakdown for a show reel. This needed to be at a professional standard as it would be used to apply for jobs in the future. The focus of the project was compositing although this would also include of techniques such as animation, rotoscoping and camera tracking.
Research went into the project to figure out what kind of shot would be created. The idea was to produce a shot that was story driven but also covered the principals of compositing.
It is important to note that the first shot was tracked and shot by Josh Chappell where as the second shot was tracked by myself. The Audi R8 model is by Rodrigo Marini, the footage was comped and edited by myself. Any onset data for the first shot was captured by Josh Chappell.
