Specialism – Concept Artist
Hello, I am a digital arts graduate and looking for concept artist / illustrator jobs working in the games industry. I love designing environments and characters and I am passionate about learning skills to expand my imagination and then visualizing them to my audience.
The theme for this work is fantasy humanoids and their homes, with the main image telling the story of a humanoid creature wanting to leave and explore the world beyond his home; what he does may be betrayal or destruction, as the strife beyond the world cannot leave the creature in question alone, while his companion in the trees watches him leave.
In pieces 1-2, the main focus is on exploring the users and residential uses of the treehouse. Above ground, the treehouses are used primarily for survival and habitation, and below ground, they are used to train young tribe members.
Piece 3 shows the overall treehouse community, showing solidarity during a period of prosperity as they gather compactly in a clearing by a snowy mountain.  Piece 4 shows the gradual depression and dispersal of habitation within the tribe after a period of prosperity. The overall atmosphere is despondency tinged with hope, yearning and uncertainty for the future. The inhabitants choose the course of different destinies amidst the confusion within the tribe and the outside world.

After a prosperous group life, conflicts arose within the tribe. They chose to live in scattered groups. The silhouettes of two figures tell the story; one wants to pursue his path, giving up everything he has; he chooses not to fly. Perhaps he is rebelling against the forces of nature that bind him. The other is struggling to choose whether to leave or stay, and the road ahead is confusing for either of them. This branch can also be a direction for players to choose from for different endings.
