The overarching theme of this project is creating a fantasy world with the emulation of realism by using and including a range of methods and techniques.
A vast portfolio of images was captured in the listed locations, these proved crucial to developing the scene with authenticity and accuracy. Furthermore, the primary goal while visiting these locations was to thoroughly explore the surrounding environments to determine what features were present. Waste on forest floors, tree types, leaves, branches, moss, muck, fallen trees, stumps and other features can all be transferred to the production process. Furthermore, while at these locations, various tree species, such as pine, fir, beech, and oak, were investigated as this would take up most of the scene. Times of day and different seasons also provided key changes to the environment.
