This final project is about the creation of character, creature, and environment concept art. Also, the development of a painterly art style and industry workflow. The aim is to show the art progression and the incorporation of feedback into the pipeline.  A primary objective during this project is to show a variety of subjects in the dark fantasy genre that is at industry standard. Additionally, this project aims to explore the technique, photo bashing and its benefits.

"To further imply that this environment was the aftermath of a battle, skulls on stakes and torn banners were added to the scene. Paint textures and other brushwork was used to blend the newly combined ruins and characters with the photograph layers. Adding black bars above and below the scene made the artwork feel more cinematic." 
"The character combines organic features such as a scorpion's traits, with an inorganic suit of armour. To implement scorpion characteristics in an interesting way, the scorpion features were reversed. The helmet resembles a scorpion stinger and the leg guards, scorpion claws"
