Specialism – Digital Matte Painter
Having worked in a variety of roles (2D and 3D), I have a comprehensive practical understanding of the VFX pipeline, and how DMP sits within it. Having a traditional painting background gives me a firm foundation in the fundamentals of image making, whilst an earlier focus on 3D generalism provides a deep-rooted understanding of 3DMP.
Recent projects have proven my abilities to work to direction, as well as organisation and problem solving; team communication and meeting tough deadlines. Away from the computer, my hobbies are oil painting and maritime history, sometimes combining the two.
