Specialism – Environment Artist
My personal career goal is to work as an Environment Artist in AAA game studio, and more specifically I see myself entering the industry as a Prop Artist. This informs my choice to focus on props in this project, as I’m trying to have in depth understanding of industry standards when making Game Ready Props.
This project is designed to showcase my growth as an environment artist, more specifically I want to develop my own detailed pipeline to produce high quality models.  Throughout this project developments were made in multiple areas of production like modelling, sculpting and texturing. The knowledge gathered is the highest achievement of this project as it will be utilised to produce high quality work in any future projects

"Peer feedback highlighted the issues with tree bark being blown out, this occurred because redwood trees from the forest pack by (LikolusCGeros, 2019) where not to scale with the scene and they were scaled down, but the displacement didn’t scale so it looked out of place, fortunately there was a height control in the tree material which allowed to scale down the effect."
“For this scene, I managed to set up global wind throughout the cinematic and have it affect the foliage, trees and smoke as the turbine of the windmill is turning. This was another critical property which helped the scene flow and appear more dynamic showing physical environment behaviours.”
