Specialism – Architectural Visualisation
Daniel Dabkowski has been one of our most focused Arch Viz students this year, exploring Unreal Engine and how to create interactive narrative in his work. After a successful placement at Visual House, Dan has spent this year focused on real-time architectural visualisation with a clear industry focus.
His Final Major Project centres on a beautiful interactive walkthrough, built in Unreal Engine and grounded in a solid production pipeline. From carefully cleaned-up CAD imports and scaled 3ds Max assets, to Datasmith workflows and logical material setups, every stage of the process has been thoughtfully planned and executed. The result is a polished, technically confident visualisation experience with user interaction at its heart—including working light switches, material changes, and video playback—all designed to enhance the sense of space and usability.
Throughout the year, Dan has been a generous and thoughtful presence in the studio—always willing to help others and keen to explore new techniques. His interest in tools like RailClone, Forest Pack, and advanced Blueprint systems shows a mindset aligned with professional practice, and his final work is a strong example of someone ready to contribute to real-world architectural or visualisation pipelines.
