For This final major project, it was decided to create various scenes of a cyberpunk style city using the 3D software Blender. Inspired by the futuristic and dystopian themes of the cyberpunk genre, the aim is to design a city that is both visually appealing and thematically rich, with a focus on trying to create a story for that world.
The cyberpunk genre is a subgenre of science fiction that first appeared in the 1980s. it is normally characterized by a dystopian future has become advanced to the point where it has become the dominant force in society and everyone’s daily lives, a main example being through some form of cybernetic upgrade to a person’s physical body such as robot arms for super strength or a robotic eye to use the internet while someone’s walking instead of using a phone.
The genre was heavily influenced by the rapid development of technology in the 1980s, also the social and economic changes that were happening at the time.

This test was conducted to help understand lighting more in depth when it comes to element such as, Lighting coming out from behind buildings or other objects and how light goes through fog.
For This scene it was decided to create an apartment like that of which an Arasaka corporate executive would live in to show the stark contrast on how the two different classes live between the two scenes. The apartment plans are to be higher tech and was heavily influenced by the sleek black futuristic style of the upper-class places that are featured in cyberpunk 2077.
